Top 10 Players in the World

Well, everybody will defnitely regard Messi as the best player in the world, but i feel there is another magician who deserves that recognition. Here i have compiled my list of the top 10 players in the world in my opinion.

1. Andres Iniesta
This little magician has been the backbone of the current successful pack of Barcelona players. He has a sublime passong ability and fantastic tactical awareness with ability to pick out terrific through balls. He has even scored some very vital goals for club anc country in the past year with the most memorable one coming in the World Cup final against Holland.

2. Xavi Hernandez
This player is a joy to watch when the ball is at his feet. He can pick a pass from almost anywhere and his interplays with other players are absolutely magnificient. He gives 100% for the team on the field and has fantastic attitude as a player. He also has an eye for goal.

3. Wesley Sneijder
This is another player who made his name last season after winning the treble with Internazionale and ended the campaign with some fantastic displays in the World Cup and was unfortunate to finish as runners up. He is dangerous on the ball as as well as set pieces and has a knack for scoring goals as well. He deserves to be on the podium for all he has achieved last season.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo is a versatile player who has proved he can play in two differnt teams with rich histroy and high expectations. He has scored 54 goals in 56 games for his current club Real Madrid and probably wasnt on the podium for his performances in the world cup and the fact that Real finished second on the league table. His bad attitude plays a part too

5. Lionel Messi
This magician is recognised by many as the greatest player in the world but i believe his performances for Argentina in the summer might have had a say for me in choosing my top 10 best players. He has proven himself in Barcelona but keeps on struggling for his national side. But when he is at his best for Barcelona, manu regard him as a player from a different planet.

6. Arjen Robben
Robben is a revitalised player at Bayern Munich after enduring some difficult spells with Chelsea and Real Madrid. He was arguably Bayern Munich's best player last season when they were Champions League finalist and put in some marvellous performance for Holland in the World Cup. But he has alo had his unfair shair of injuries that have hampered his development.

7. Diego Milito
Diego Milito was the voted the European Striker of the year after finishing last season as top scorer of the Serie A in his first season with Internazionale. A hardworking striker with predatory instincts, Milito scored two goals in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich to effectively be crowned European Champions.

8. Diego Forlan
Forlan has been proving to critics that leaving Manchester United after a bad spell wasnt so bad after all. He performed consistently with Athletico Madrid last season, forming a bright partnership with Sergio 'Kun" Aguero. Besides, he was also voted the best player of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the summer after guiding Uruguay to the semi-finals in a tremendous journey for them.

9. Thomas Muller
This youngster kept Mario Gomez and Miroslav Klose on the bench for most of the times last season in Bayern Munich after performing so consistenly for the Bavarians. He was then picked by Joachim Loew for the World Cup in which he shined and proved himself in the biggest stage as he finished the campaign as the top scorer of the World Cup and also being voted the Best Young Player of the tournament.

10. Gonzalo Higuain
It would be unfair for me to exclude this player of my list for all he did with Real last season. He was behind Ronaldo as the top scorer for Real Madrid and also scored some important goal in the world cup, grabbing a hatrick against the South Koreans. A striker with great poaching instincts, he kept Diego Milito on the bench most of times in the world cup and he even overshined Lionel Messi's performance for Argentina in the biggest stage of Football.

These are my 10 best player in the world and i know i will generate some critics for particular decisions but this are my opinion and everybody will have a different opinion....

Cheers!

Who is this? .. Well, Villa wasnt in a top performing team last season as Valencia werent quite in the class of Real Madrid or Barcelona. Next year, he will have a chance as he is now performing for Barcelona

Paul Scholes was one of the best. But i'm afraid he is too old to play regularly and most importantly perform regularly. But, he still puts in some fantastic performance though once in a while. But again, once in a while coz i dun think he still has the legs to play week in week out.
